Born 1952. Assoc.Professor at the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra, Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, Department of Botany. Dendrologist, plant taxonomist. Research activities was oriented on discover, studies and conservation of native, old and traditional plant varieties in West Carpathian mountains. Managed and engaged in several national and international research and development projects. Published nearly 50 scientific papers and several books. Board member of Slovak NGO "Agro-Genofond", partner of SAVE Foundation. Head of the Department of Botany SAU, member of the Board of Slovak Botanical Society. Recent work is focused on studies the biological diversity of natural populations of threatened plant species in central Europe and managed of conservation a small plant populations.
